Please join us in celebrating National Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Week October 21-27, 2012.
Now more than ever we need to celebrate the hard work of agencies and advocates in preventing and responding to this insidious disease.
We know that your local celebrations will educate families, policymakers, and others. This year, we hope you will also speak up to restore funding for CDC's lead poisoning prevention program.
Please take the opportunity during lead poisoning prevention week to contact your U.S. Senators and Representatives and ask them to support this program during the appropriations process. It is easy to take action. Please visit the National Safe and Healthy Housing Coalition's legislative action center. With just a few clicks, you can send a note to all of your elected officials.
Thank you for all you do to protect children from childhood lead poisoning!
